A Le Roy woman is our area’s newest millionaire.
Carol Pursel won the top prize of $1 million on The Color of Money scratch-off game. After taxes, she’ll collect yearly payments of $33,000 for the next 20 years.
The 58 year old Pursel picked up the winning ticket during a last minute stop at a Tops store in Le Roy hoagie rolls. She works at her husband's auto repair shop in Le Roy.
She says the money will help her pay for her daughter's wedding.
