Jim Boeheim has always been a little crusty when it comes to dealing with the press, but lately the hall of fame coach has been over the top crusty. I will say he has given all of us more  than enough fodder to chew on. Perhaps its a ploy to deflect criticism from his team's recent performances.

Boeheim battled the media once again Monday night following Syracuse's 74-71 loss to Marquette.  This time CBS' Jeff Goodman asked a legitimate question to suggest Syracuse is in need of a leader with the team losing back-to-back Big East games. Boeheim replied "You should try coaching because that's what you think you are," "Maybe you should try that."

Just a few weeks ago, he called Andy Katz  an “idiot” and a “disloyal person” after a Syracuse loss to UConn.

Syracuse has lost two straight games and will finish February with a losing record. He is defending his team that is limping towards March. Boeheim is a great coach, but is bullying antics towards to the press is just simpy immature and unprofessional.
