In 2012 the Bills finished 26th in the league in scoring by allowing 27 points per game. On Monday the team cut loose two veteran leaders on the defensive side of the football,  strong safety George Wilson and linebacker Nick Barnett.

Both Barnett and Wilson started all 16 games for the Bills in 2012, finishing first and second on the team in tackles.

Barnett, who will turn 32 in May, started all 32 games with the Bills in his two seasons with the team after being signed as an unrestricted free agent from Green Bay.

Wilson recorded zero sacks, picks or forced fumbles in 2012. New defensive coordinator Mike Pettine could bring in players from the Jets where he served as the team's dc since 2009.

Yeremiah Bell and Pro Bowler LaRon Landry of the Jets are scheduled to become free agents, plus linebacker Bart Scott could also be cut loose along with David Harris.

Nothing wrong witha a little bit of Gang Green to your defense.

Lebron James is unstoppable. I never I would say this but he can be better than Michael Jordan. James is 27 years old and has a chance to rattle off several titles.

Sabres visit Ottawa tonight. Will Tyler Myers return to the lineup? He has been a healthy scratch the last two games.
