Kim Kardashian and Kanye West konfirm they're having a kid

Leave it to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to slip in one of 2012's biggest celebrity news stories right at the end of the year. Kanye revealed that Kim is pregnant with his child by reportedly announcing the news to his concert audience in Atlantic City, N.J., on Sunday night.

Details are skant, but here's what we do know: Kim is about 12 weeks along, the trials of pregnancy might mean the next season of her reality show will have an actual plotline, and, whether it's a boy or girl, that kid's name is almost certainly going to start with a "K."
