AskMen.com has released its annual list of the 99 Most Desirable Women in the World. And this year's big winner is "Hunger Games" minx JENNIFER LAWRENCE.
On the other end of the spectrum is KIM KARDASHIAN . . . who dropped 90 PLACES . . . from #8 last year to #98 this year. SCARLETT JOHANSSON also took a hard drop . . . from #7 to #45.
Meanwhile, infidelity seems to have HELPED KRISTEN STEWART. She was 27th last year . . . this year she made it to #7. And thanks to "Homeland", CLAIRE DANES made the list for the first time this year. She's 20th.

It's Official . . . Rush, Heart, Donna Summer, and Public Enemy Will Be Inducted Into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
The other new inductees include: Heart, blues guitarist Albert King, Randy Newman, Donna Summer and Flavor Flav's hip-hop group, Public Enemy.
The ceremony will take place April 18th in Los Angeles. It'll air May 18th on HBO.
Those who were nominated this year but did NOT get in are: Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Chic, Kraftwerk and The Paul Butterfield Blues Band.
The first-time nominees who didn't make it include: Procol Harum, The Marvelettes, The Meters, rappers N.W.A. and Deep Purple, who are probably the BIGGEST snub.
Even though this was Deep Purple's first nomination, they've been eligible for 19 YEARS.
(--To be eligible for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, an act has to have released its first recorded output at least 25 years prior to the year in which it was nominated.)

Former Commissioner Paul Tagliabue ON TUESDAY overturned the suspensions of four current and former New Orleans Saints players...TAGLIBUE stressed that the team's coaches were very much involved and, along with others in the Saints' organization, had "contaminated'' the case.
The Buffalo Bills officially placed running back Fred Jackson on injured reserve Tuesday and promoted defensive tackle Jay Ross to the 53-man roster....Ross spent portions of the past two seasons on Buffalo's practice squad. A three-year starter at East Carolina, the 6-3, 319-pound lineman entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with New Orleans in 2010.
The Jets are bringing back wide receiver Braylon Edwards...New York was awarded Edwards off waivers from Seattle on Tuesday... Edwards, who played for New York from 2009-10, was waived by Seattle on Monday.
The New England Patriots have placed wide receiver Donte' Stallworth on injured reserve with an ankle injury, ending his season after just one game. Stallworth signed with the team last week and scored on his only reception in Monday's rout of Houston.
Pittsburgh Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall, the leading rusher for the past three seasons, has been suspended one game for conduct detrimental to the team....Mendenhall has been inactive for the past two games since fumbling twice in four carries in Cleveland. He is an unrestricted free agent after this season.
The Chicago Bears placed kicker Robbie Gould (gold) on injured reserve with a strained left calf. To replace one of the most accurate kickers in league history, the team has signed Olindo Mare to a one-year contract.

The Rochester Americans cooled off the Western Conference-leading Abbotsford Heat as the Amerks defeated their North Division rivals with a 3-2 shootout win Tuesday night at The Blue Cross Arena. The win was the Amerks’ second in the past three games, improving them to 11-9-2-0 on the season...David Leggio made his return to the pipes after a two-game rest, turning away 29 saves in regulation to move within one win of a 100 career victories
T.J. Brennan netted the game-winner in the sixth round of the skills competition. Frederick Roy and Luke Adam also scored in regulation for the Amerks.

Free agent Kevin Youkilis and the New York Yankees have reached agreement on a one-year deal... The contract is worth $12 million and pending a physical. .The 34-year-old Youkilis is coming off the worst season of his major league career, hitting .236 with 19 homers and 60 RBIs. He batted .308 from 2008-10 but has since posted a .246 average.

The PGA of America says it would reveal the next U.S. captain during a segment Thursday of NBC's ``Today'' show, followed by a news conference in the Empire State Building. . Golf Digest cited sources it did not identify in reporting the PGA of America planned to pick Tom Watson.
