Woman claims breast implants saved her when she was shot in the chest

Who'd've thought "bulletproofing" would appear on the list of reasons to get breast implants? Eileen Likness, from Alberta, Canada, reportedly testified in court that her surgically enhanced breasts "took the brunt of the force" of gunfire when her ex-husband allegedly shot her in 2006.

According to her testimony, the bullet from Fernando "Frank" Chora's 9mm handgun entered her right breast, grazed her chest plate and exited her left breast, destroying her implants. "They were gone," Likness explained, although after recovering from her wounds she underwent further breast enhancement surgery.
