
NO GOBBLING FOR PETA KIDS
Trying to get kids to think of Thanksgiving as something other than “Turkey Day,” PETA put up billboards in Nevada and California comparing turkeys to the family dog and asking: "KIDS: If you wouldn't eat your dog, why eat a turkey? Go vegan" with a picture of a dog head on a turkey body.
This has angered a lot of people, especially since PETA is also offering tombstones kids can stick in the turkey that say, “Here lies the corpse of a tortured bird.”
We’re just waiting to see if PETA does the same thing for the Christmas goose …
City of Austin files counter-petition to secede from Texas
The petition states it is "entirely feasible for Austin to operate as its own state," and adds that remaining in the Union "would protect [its] citizens' standard of living." Buffalo Bills defensive end Chris Kelsay will miss his second straight game with a neck injury after being ruled out by the team from playing against the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night.
Also ruled out by the Bills were running back Fred Jackson (concussion), defensive end Mark Anderson (left knee), cornerback Aaron Williams (right knee).. The Bills (3-6) have lost five of six. The Dolphins (4-5) travel to Orchard Park having lost two straight.
