Two Farmington men are accused of tying 2 dogs to a tree and leaving them.

Deputies say 38-year-old Christopher Clawson and 31-year-old Zachary Guidarelli had left the dogs in 6 inches of water and an inch of snow earlier this month.

Both dogs were malnourished, but are now on the mend, and will be up for adoption soon.

Clawson and Guidarelli are each charged with animal cruelty and animal abandonment.
