Greece Woman Sentenced to 1-3 Years in Prison for Killing Husband

The Greece woman accused of shooting her husband to death last summer will serve 1 to 3 years in prison.

68-year-old Skavon Andrews was found guilty last month of criminally negligent homicide in the shooting that killed Rawleigh Andrews in September of last year.

But she was acquitted of 2nd-degree murder and 2nd-degree manslaughter.

Police say Skavon shot Rawleigh in the head with a rifle in the driveway of their Vintage Lane home.

The couple had been married more than 40 years.
