Rochester Fringe Festival Begins this Week

Rochester's Fringe Festival kicks off tomorrow. Here is a listing of some some of the acts:

CIRCOLOMBIA: CORAZÓN - A WORLD PREMIERE!

Sky-high feats. Latin beats. Mind-bending moves. Circolombia, a groundbreaking circus troupe with a history of engagements in Edinburgh, London, and Chicago, will perform a show written and produced exclusively for Rochester Fringe audiences i. The show, titled Corazón, will feature six extraordinary artists who each bring an exuberant, Colombian-born vibe to the act-along with madly daring skills.

PHOTONIC BRASS

Music of the Baroque Era was written to be performed on archaic instruments, such as harpsichords and lutes. This group aims to bring the music of the 17th and 18th centuries into the 21st century. With modern instruments, Photonic Brass breathes new life into music specially chosen to be played outdoors, and connects with a modern audience through unique staging, storytelling, and stylistic interpretation.
