Henrietta Woman Charged in Fatal Empire Blvd. Crash

A Henrietta woman has been charged with vehicular manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide and driving while impaired by drugs for a crash on Empire Boulevard that killed a Rochester woman back in June.

Michaela Carwile is also charged with driving without a license.

She's being held in the Monroe County jail on $25,000 bail.

Carwile was driving when her car collided head-on with another, killing 31-year-old Juanella Mincey of Rochester.

A blood sample confirmed Carwile had cocaine and fentanyl in her system.

Carwile was located this week at a motel in Henrietta and arrested.

She was arraigned in Penfield Town Court.
