Nine more marijuana dispensary licenses have been awarded in our area.
The state Cannabis Management Board has now given a total of 16 Conditional Adult Use Retail Dispensary licenses in the Finger Lakes Region.
The Cannabis Board says this will advance the legal cannabis industry.
Three of the new licensed businesses are in Monroe County, and one is in Ontario County.
Plus, licensed cannabis dealers are now able to sell gummies and other edibles at concerts and festivals.
Marijuana sales are also permitted, but smoking is still not allowed.
