Gates Home Overrun By Over 200 Cats Must Be Up To Code by August 1st

There is an update to the story last month about a filthy home in Gates where authorities found more than 200 cats.

As first reported by 13WHAM, a judge yesterday scheduled an August 1 date for town inspectors to determine if conditions in the house have improved, and whether it can be brought up to code.

The owner of the home on Courtright Lane has until then to clean it up.

It is currently not habitable -- and neighbors are still complaining about odors and insects.

About 50 of the cats were adopted recently from Lollypop Farm
