Rochester Man Charged After Firing Shots at House

A 20-year-old Rochester man is facing charges for firing a shot from an illegal handgun overnight on Lexington Avenue, near Dewey.

Police say Chase Ivery-Beckford was involved in an argument outside a home around midnight, and fired at a person he knew.

The bullet went into a house, but didn't hit anyone.

Ivery-Beckford ran into a house, but eventually came out after police showed up.

A search in the house turned up a gun loaded with 17 rounds that appeared to have been modified to fire in a fully automatic mode.
