Rochester Man Admits Stabbing Ex-Girlfriend

A Rochester man has admitted to stabbing the mother of his child last November.

43-year-old Timothy Williams pleaded guilty to 1st-degree assault.

Prosecutors say he waited outside his ex-girlfriend's Thorn Street home, then slashed her in the face and head.

The victim was seriously wounded, but survived.

Williams will be sentenced in June to 19 years in prison.

Williams previously served 22 years in prison on a murder conviction.
