State regulators have approved a permit for a new cannabis laboratory in Rochester.
The lab is one of 13 approved around the state to test the safety of medical marijuana products.
The State Cannabis Control Board also yesterday approved 99 more licenses for recreational marijuana stores. A total of 165 licenses have been approved since last year.
A court injunction continues to block the approval of licenses in the Rochester-Finger Lakes region.
