DEVELOPING:
Two Rochester police officers were shot and wounded this evening in an attack on Bauman Street.
Department sources say one officer is at Strong Memorial Hospital and was reportedly conscious on the way to the hospital. The other is at Rochester General Hospital and is currently in stable condition.
At least one of the officers returned fire, but it's not known yet if he hit anyone. Alerts were put out for anyone arriving at a hospital seeking medical attention.
