Rochester General Hospital Nurses To Unionize

Nurses at Rochester General Hospital have voted to form a union.

The vote last night was 431 in favor to 296 against.

Those who have been pushing for a union say it will mean better pay, retention, and staffing.

Rochester Regional Health said in a statement it is "disappointed" by the vote but accepts the results and is committed to moving forward as ONE TEAM to provide greater care for the community.
