Hochul Delegates Over 46-Million-Dollars to Youth Summer Jobs Program

Governor Hochul has announced more than 46-million-dollars will be available for a summer jobs program to help disadvantaged youth.

The program introduces young New Yorkers from low-income families into the labor market so they can develop useful skills at parks, summer camps and nursing homes.

To be eligible, young people must be between 14 and 20 years old and from a household with an income below 200 percent of the federal poverty level.

Anyone who is interested can sign up at the department of social services.
