The sports betting industry is continuing to be a big success in New York.
Since January, the state has generated more than $267 million in tax revenue from sports wagering -- and mobile wagering has accounted for nearly all of that.
So far, New York has already collected more money in sports wagering revenue than both New Jersey and Pennsylvania have each made since 2018.
The revenue is being reinvested in education, grants for youth sports programming and problem gambling treatment.
