Ontario County Supervisors say Former Sheriff Mistreated Employees

The Ontario County Board of Supervisors has released the findings of an investigation into the conduct of former Sheriff Kevin Henderson.

A committee found corroboration for allegations Henderson and others in his office participated in inappropriate behavior toward employees.

Henderson denied the allegations but resigned last year.

Undersheriff Kevin Frasca and three officers at the jail also resigned.

County Administrator Chris DeBolt says more than 70 current and former employees spoke to investigators.

As a result of the investigation, employees in the sheriff's office can now take internal reports of harassment to the county's human resources office.
