A 20-year-old Rochester man is dead after he was shot late last night on Handy Street. Police say Tymir Thomas was shot in the lower body. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, where lifesaving measures were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead. The Major Crimes Unit is investigating the murder and say Thomas was sitting in a car when he was shot. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers.
