Rochester Firefighters Save Four People From Burning House

Rochester firefighters say they rescued four people from a burning home on North Street, near Clifford Avenue.

Smoke and flames were coming from the rear of the home yesterday.

Three people inside were rescued by a ladder from a second-floor window, and firefighters found and rescued the fourth person inside and brought him down the stairs.

That victim was taken to the hospital to be checked out.

The Red Cross is assisting the residents with alternate housing.
