Portion of Highway in Mendon Named After Fallen National Guardsman

A portion of a New York State highway in Mendon is being named after a National Guardsman who died earlier this year in a helicopter crash.

Governor Cuomo today signed legislation designating a portion of State Route 64 as the "Chief Warrant Officer 4 Christian J. Koch Memorial Highway."

Koch was one of three servicemen killed during a training mission back in January.
