A man who suffered severe burns in a fire at his home in Canandaigua earlier this week has died of his injuries.
The Ontario County Sheriff's Office says 61-year-old Robert Burtis of North Road was found behind his garage with severe burns. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester by Mercy Flight and died yesterday.
The department has not said how Burtis came to be on fire, but say the incident is not believe to be suspicious.
