Rochester Man Charged With Murder

A Rochester man will be arraigned this morning on charges stemming from a fatal stabbing on the city's north side.

Thirty-six-year-old Evan Guzman is facing a second-degree murder charge.

Officers found 52-year-old Ted Morris stabbed to death yesterday morning when they went to check on him at an address on Resolute Circle.

Guzman was arrested later on Clinton Avenue.

Police say the two men knew each other, but police aren't commenting on a motive for the stabbing.

And police say Guzman is a sex offender, and has a long record that includes an assault on a prison guard. He was released from prison in Apri.
