Rochester police have confirmed another homicide in the city.
It happened around 2:30 this morning on Genesee Street. A man in his 30's was found stabbed on the ground, near Elmdorf Street -- about two blocks north of the spot where a man was shot to death Thursday evening. The man could not be revived.
Rochester police say it appears there may have been an argument prior to the stabbing.
No one has been arrested.
Police have reported 31 homicides in the city this year -- counting the death of a man this year from a shooting that happened in the 1990s.
