Rochester Police say two people were hurt following a broad daylight shooting on Dr. Samuel McCree Way near Jefferson Avenue.
Rochester Police say a vehicle drove by and fired shots at a woman and man who were standing on the sidewalk.
A woman in her 20's was shot multiple times in the upper body, she is in guarded condition at the hospital.
A man was shot at least once in the leg and is expected to be ok.
Deputy Chief Dave Smith says there were multiple people in the area that may have witnessed something and anyone with information is being urged to come forward.
