Man Shot By SWAT Officers Identified

Family members say the man shot to death by Rochester police Friday night was 29-year-old Timothy Flowers.

Police say SWAT officers shot and killed a wanted man on Avenue D when they tried to arrest him and he fired first.

He allegedly was wanted for attempted murder and had been involved in four shootings in a 24-hour period.

There is no body camera video; SWAT officers don't usually wear the cameras.

The state Attorney General's Office is beginning an investigation into the use of deadly force

Flowers mother says he had two daughters ages 3 and 8.
