State lawmakers are expected to vote today on extending a moratorium on residential evictions.
If approved, the moratorium will be in effect until at least August 31st.
The moratorium was put in place to provide relief to people struggling to pay their rent during the COVID-19 pandemic.
But some landlords have been running into issues with tenants taking advantage of the moratorium because they can pay their rent but have chosen not to.
