NYS Liquor Authority Extends Take Out Alcohol Rule for One Month

"Cocktails To Go" in New York State is being extended for one month.

The State Liquor Authority says take out alcohol is now allowed until May 6th.

The rules for carry out booze were relaxed last year, when many eateries were struggling to stay in business.

Groups like the New York Restaurant Association are pushing for legislation so booze-to-go can stick around for another few years.
