Gov. Cuomo’s administration reportedly had been tracking COVID deaths of nursing home residents at hospitals since at least last April -- even though the administration said months later the numbers could not be verified.
Fox News has obtained a document from the Department of Health saying the nursing homes were required to report the COVID deaths at least once per day.
The form says a new field was added last April 19 to specify each deceased resident's place of death.
The New York Times previously reported that a top aide to the governor excluded the hospital deaths from a report last July.
