New York lawmakers are announcing a deal to legalize, tax and regulate recreational marijuana in the Empire State.
It sets up a State Office of Cannabis Management that would be like the State Liquor Authority.
The bill would legalize selling pot to New Yorkers aged 21 and older.
The state Assembly and Senate will vote on the legislation next week.
