Governor Cuomo is hiring a criminal defense attorney.
The Wall Street Journal reports veteran white-collar defense lawyer Elkan Abramowitz has been hired after accusations of sexual harassment, along with probes into COVID-19 nursing home deaths.
Two women who used to work for Cuomo have accused him of sexual harassment, with the governor releasing a statement yesterday, saying he never intended to offend anyone or cause any harm. He also denies inappropriately touching or propositioning anyone.
