Monroe Ave. Restaurant Employee Tests Positive for COVID-19

The owners of the Pane Vino restaurant on Monroe Avenue say a staff member has tested positive for COVID-19. They say they've closed the restaurant, communicated today with the Monroe County Health Department and are cleaning and spraying the place down. The staff has been asked to get COVID testing.

Several tests on staff members have already come back "negative."

In a statement, the restaurant owners say everyone was wearing masks and social distancing. They say they've contacted a local company that specializes in advanced sanitizing and goes beyond what is required by the health department.
