An 18-year-old driver is dead after an early morning crash in Webster. Police were called to Gasberry Lane shortly after 1:00 a.m. to find a car crashed into a tree.
An area resident had pulled six people from the wreck before police got there.
The driver, Body Spade of Webster, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The five passengers, who range in age from 16-to-18, were also taken to the hospital. Their injuries run from minor to serious.
Police continue to investigate. They believe speed was a factor.
