Arrests Made in Two Separate Rochester Homicides

Rochester police have made arrests in two homicides.

Fifty-five-year-old Dana Smith is charged in the May 19th stabbing death of Todd Hamilton in a basement on Boardman Street, off Monroe Avenue.

Smith was the unnamed suspect who was shot when he allegedly tried to stab a U.S. Marshal two weeks ago in Niagara Falls. Smith was released from the hospital yesterday and booked in Rochester.

Also yesterday, city police raided a home on Portland Avenue and arrested parolee Olajuwon Holt. He's charged with murder in the shooting death of Parris Washington on June 19th on Bardin Street.
