Irondequoit Man Pleads Guilty to Cyberstalking Charge

Federal prosecutors say an Irondequoit man has pleaded guilty to cyberstalking charges.

They say 53-year-old Theodore Loria stalked an unnamed victim from June of 2017 to last August, causing severe emotional distress. Loria admitted to sending the victim text messages saying the victim was an "enemy" of law enforcement, that he knew where the victim's family members lived and everything about the victim and the victim's child. Loria also drove repeatedly by the victim's residence and business, until he was spotted following the victim in his car.

An investigation by the FBI and the Rochester Police Department led to Loria's arrest.
