UR Medicine says it's celebrating a milestone by continuing to perform transplant surgeries while keeping both patients and staff away from the coronavirus.
Dr Roberto Hernandez Alejandro says doctors and patients need to be protected.
Dr. Alejandro says doctors have managed to perform 17 liver transplants, seven kidney transplants and three heart transplants over the past nine weeks, despite the virus.
