A 21-year-old Palmyra man was killed Saturday evening when he ran a stop sign in Farmington and was hit broadside by a dump truck.
Ontario County Deputies say Zackary Bassett was pronounced dead at the scene. They say he failed to stop at the corner of Hook Road and Allen Padgham Road before entering the intersection, where he was hit by a dump truck towing a trailer. The truck was driven by a Fairport man who had a passenger on board. Neither was injured.
