Total Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 in Monroe County Rises To 68

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Monroe County rose by 22 yesterday and now stands at 68.

The latest patients are 15 women and 7 men, ranging from their 20s to their 70s.

Eleven of the patients are hospitalized, and six of them are in the intensive care unit. One is a patient at St. Ann's Community.

The county has placed 289 people in mandatory quarantine and isolation.

As of Sunday, 1168 tests had been given in the county, with 68 positive and 1100 negative.

There are a limited number of tests available and not everyone with potential symptoms can be tested.
