RPD Investigates 2 Stabbings

Rochester Police are investigating two unrelated stabbing cases.

They say a man walked into a store on Hudson Avenue last night bleeding from stab wounds. Police arrived to find the 27-year-old victim had been stabbed multiple times and he was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment. He told police he was attacked on Alphonse Street, and an investigation is underway.

Two men were stabbed in the area of South Clinton Avenue and Goodman Street in what police say appeared to be a knife fight. Both victims...a 52-year-old city man and a 59-year-old city man...were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and are expected to recover. A person was taken into custody but no charges have been filed yet.
