State Senator Chris Jacobs Chosen As NY-27 Nominee

Republican leaders in the 27th Congressional District have chosen Erie County state Senator Chris Jacobs as their nominee for the upcoming special election.

He was one of four announced candidates.

Some conservative activists are crying foul.

They claim GOP leaders were pressured to get behind Jacobs by state party chairman Nick Langworthy, whose wife worked as a fundraiser for Jacobs.

Jacobs will face Democrat Nate McMurray in the special election, which is expected to happen April 28th.
