Two churches in Gates will be closing in six months.
The Parish of the Holy Family says St. Helen Church and Holy Ghost Church will close on June 30.
The decision to consolidate the ministry was made December 8 and was announced in the parish's weekly bulletin.
In a letter, Father Mike Schramel cited challenges in maintaining unused and underused property.
