Police Accountability Board Accepting Applications

City Council is now accepting applications for those interested in sitting on the recently passed Rochester Police Accountability Board.

Voters overwhelmingly approved the referendum for a Police Accountabilty Board on Election Day, and Council says it's officially begun the recruitment period.

The Police Accountabilty Board will be made up of 9 members:

Four will be chosen by City Council, four will be chosen from recommendations of the Police Accountability Board Alliance and one will be chosen by the mayor.

Council will vote to confirm all nine.

The deadline for written applications will be November 27th.
