City Plan "Rochester 2034" Approved

The Rochester City Council has given unanimous approval to Mayor Warren's 15-year comprehensive plan for the city.

It's called "Rochester 2034", and outlines land-use priorities, investment strategies and city services for the next 15 years.

The mayor calls it a blueprint for growth and a set of guiding principles for public safety, housing, transportation, job creation, parks and the arts.

2034 is Rochester's bicentennial year.

It is the first update for the city's comprehensive plan since 1999
