Richard Wilbern Found Guilty on All Charges

A federal jury has convicted Richard Wilbern on all charges in the 2003 armed robbery and murder at the Xerox Federal Credit Union in Webster.

Sentencing is set for February 11.

He was accused of wearing a disguise and a jacket with FBI letters when he robbed the bank. He shot two customers, killing one.

Wilbern was arrested in 2016. DNA found on an umbrella left at the scene was matched to DNA in Wilbern's saliva on an envelope.
