The Eastman School of Music has reversed itself and won't send a student orchestra to China for concerts this winter.
China refused to allow three South Korean musicians in the Eastman Philharmonia to perform on the tour.
Members of the orchestra voted to make the trip anyway, but Dean Jamal Rossi sent an email to students last night saying the best course of action is not to go.
He says the trip is being postponed until all members of the orchestra can participate.
