City Budget Director to Help RCSD Amid Financial Troubles

The budget staff at City Hall is helping the Rochester City School District figure out how to dig out of its budget hole.

The City Budget Director Chris Wagner and two people from his staff will work with district staff.

A recent audit showed the district overspent its last budget by $30 million, and the district's Chief Financial Officer recently resigned.

Superintendent Terry Dade has promised to give the school board a corrective plan on November 12.
