Woman Pleads Guilty To Strangling A Toddler At Hospital

A woman has admitted strangling a toddler at Golisano Children's Hospital.

Jennifer Hodge pleaded guilty to second-degree strangulation for suffocating the 18-month-old in April. The child lost consciousness but did not die.

DA Sandra Doorley's office has not said why Hodge was at the hospital that day.

The hospital says Hodge was a visitor that day and knew the child.

Sentencing is set for November 21.
